Last Guard - Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 12th, 2026.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Last Guard Discord bot and its associated features.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By inviting Last Guard to your server or interacting with it in any capacity, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions outlined here, you must immediately remove the Bot from your server and cease all interaction with it.

2. Appropriate Use and User Conduct

You agree to use Last Guard in compliance with all applicable laws and Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You are strictly prohibited from using the Bot to:

  • Generate, distribute, or promote illegal, highly harmful, or sexually explicit content.
  • Harass, threaten, or doxx other users.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, exploit, or intentionally disrupt the Bot's infrastructure, databases, or API connections.
  • Spam commands, attempt to bypass established rate limits, or launch Denial of Service (DoS) attacks against the Bot.
  • Misuse the LLM prompts to perform prompt-injection attacks or manipulate the AI into violating safety guidelines.

3. Intellectual Property

All code, original assets, text, and design elements associated with Last Guard remain the intellectual property of the Developer. Adding the Bot to your server grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use its features; it does not transfer ownership of any part of the Bot to you.

4. Service Availability and Modification

The Developer strives to maintain maximum uptime, but Last Guard is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, update, suspend, or permanently discontinue any feature (including specific music sources, LLM models, or financial tools) at any time, with or without prior notice.
  • Restrict, suspend, or permanently ban specific users or entire servers from utilizing the Bot if they are found to be in violation of these Terms.

5. Financial Tools Disclaimer

The financial, stock, and market tracking tools—including charts, historical data, and AI-generated predictions—provided by Last Guard are strictly for informational and entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute professional financial advice. The Developer assumes no responsibility for any financial decisions, trades, or losses made based on data provided by the Bot. Always consult with a licensed financial advisor before making investment decisions.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer and the Last Guard development team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of data, server disruption, or damages resulting from inaccurate AI-generated responses or reliance on the Bot's features.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Developer from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Bot, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and the Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated through updates to this document and, where possible, via announcements in the Bot's support channels. Continued use of the Bot after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
